People are nasty
And so are they selfish
People are insecure and so are they vain and arrogant
People are shallow
People are cliché
People are repetitive
People don't wanna hear, but they wanna be heard.
Say everything is alright and people will be happy.
Say everything will be alright, and people will be satisfied.
Smile and say you're strong. People will smile back and pretend to believe.
Everything will be alright for them then. 'Cause that's the way people want things to be.
Don't say you think. People may think you're depressed.
Don't say you wonder. People may say you're lost.
People are selfish and that's the way it will always be.

When will I learn?
Nobody cares, but I still believe in People.
I love people
I wish I could love them the way they are
